Soundhouse Artists Help Bring Holiday Joy to Thousands at Miller Season of Service
We’re proud to highlight the incredible Soundhouse artists who brought live holiday music to the 2025 Larry H. Miller “Season of Service” Thanksgiving Meal and Community Resource Event at the Salt Palace Convention Center. Artists from Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse — including the Crescent Super Band, the Little Big Band, La Onda Caribeña, and the Voodoo Orchestra — filled the room with energy, warmth, and festive spirit as they performed for the guests.
This annual gathering is dedicated to supporting Utahns facing homelessness or food insecurity, and this year’s event served thousands of Thanksgiving meals while providing essential community resources for more than 3,500 individuals.
For the artists, the experience carried a deeper meaning. Playing music at a high level is pretty awesome, but it doesn’t get any better than playing music at a high level in service of others.
Guests included families and individuals receiving assistance, along with volunteers offering everything from dental and vision care to mental-health resources, clothing, and transit support.
Following the performances, Don Stirling, Executive Director of the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation, personally expressed his appreciation, noting that this year’s live holiday music elevated the event in a truly meaningful way.
This collaboration reflects the very heart of the Season of Service — community, compassion, and the power of coming together. Congratulations to all involved. Your Soundhouse family is grateful and inspired by your efforts.
