The Soundhouse difference

Not lessons.
Not school.

A professional performance studio.

01 REAL BANDS - not practice groups
02 REAL SHOWS - not recitals
03 REAL ARTISTS - not students

Every band runs on the Soundhouse Method™, in a facility built for it, on gear from 20 professional brands. Bands play rock, funk, pop, soul, jazz, blues, ska, Latin and reggae — hear what that sounds like.

This is for serious musicians who want more.

“Serious” doesn’t mean professional. It means you care, you prepare, and you want to get better. No résumé, no awards required — bands are matched by age, ability, style, and goals, so there’s a room for a first-year player and a room for the kid who’s outgrown everything else in town.

If you:

  • Are already playing and want to perform at a higher level
  • Want real stage and band tour experience
  • Are ready to be pushed

Soundhouse is where you belong.

More Than Music

What Artists take with them:
  • Leadership — real responsibility inside their band, not a title on paper
  • The business of music — management, marketing, logistics and promotion, learned by doing them for real shows
  • Behind the glass — opportunities in audio engineering, video production, arranging and live sound
  • Work ethic, time management, and the habit of delivering when people are counting on you
  • We use excellence in music performance to train excellence in life performance

How to join

Your path to the next stage.

Who can nominate you?

Soundhouse membership is available by nomination only. Every Artist in this building was vouched for by someone who heard them play — that is what makes the room worth walking into. To submit a Soundhouse Application, you must be nominated by one of the following:

  • A private instructor
  • A school music teacher
  • A current or former Soundhouse Artist
  • A Soundhouse Staff Member

Step 1Sit in with a band — optional, free, no nomination needed
Step 2Apply — with your nominator’s contact, or the nomination our A&R team gives after your visit. Soundhouse verifies the nomination.
Step 3Entrance Audition & Interview — a nominated musician is already the kind of player we’re looking for; this tells us where you fit and what you want. See what to prepare
Step 4Placement Audition — each season, sets your band by level and goals. It never affects membership: once you’re in, you’re in.
Step 5Register and start — $199 one-time registration, then weekly rehearsals begin
