Soundhouse gives students an additional performance environment where they can apply what they learn at school, grow as leaders, and return to their ensembles more prepared and motivated. We are a partner to school music—not a competitor. School ensemble participation is encouraged, and school commitments take priority.

Soundhouse artists rehearse and perform in professionally produced bands, working on collaboration, preparation, stagecraft, and contemporary repertoire. Those skills transfer directly to school ensembles.
We value the educators who build the musical foundation our artists bring with them, and we aim to reinforce that work.

We are not a competing ensemble. Students come back to your program with stage experience, the habit of preparing on a deadline, and a reason to keep their instrument out of the case all summer long.

What it costs a family
$299 per month, plus a one-time $199 registration fee at acceptance. Performance and Premier bands add a band fee that covers band tours, recording, and filming — each band’s total is published in the season catalog. Scholarships are available through the Sound Support Foundation, so cost should not be the reason you hold back a student who belongs here.
