Soundhouse Alum Sadie Dahl Wows the Nation on NBC’s The Voice
Former Soundhouse artist Sadie Dahl stepped into the national spotlight on the most recent season of NBC’s The Voice, marking an electrifying milestone in her musical journey. A recent graduate of Lone Peak High School in Highland, Utah, Sadie spent three years sharpening her artistry at Soundhouse — an experience she credits with building her confidence, versatility, and sense of identity as a performer.
Sadie’s rise on the show began with a show-stopping Blind Audition, where she delivered a powerhouse rendition of Colors by Black Pumas. Her performance earned the extremely rare four-chair turn, with all four coaches hitting their buttons within moments. Viewers across the country were captivated by her soulful tone and emotional depth — qualities that few expected from a Utah teenager. She was so impressive, in fact, that Michael Bublé was blocked from even having a chance to recruit her to his team, a move that only underscored her desirability as an artist. The result as a spot on Snoop Dogg.
In the Battles round, Sadie faced off against fellow Team Snoop vocalist Toni Lorene in a stunning duet of Rihanna’s Love on the Brain. The performance showcased Sadie’s range, control, and ability to deliver rich emotional expression in a high-pressure moment. The coaches responded with enthusiastic praise, including Niall Horan, who called the performance “very, very special.” Moved by her artistry, Niall immediately used his steal to bring her onto his team, telling her it was “time to come home.” It was one of the standout moments of the Battles and further cemented Sadie as a fan favorite.
Sadie’s journey on The Voice has drawn new audiences to her music and highlighted the power of disciplined training and authentic self-expression — both hallmarks of her time at Soundhouse. Her performances resonated nationally, but they also resonated deeply with those who watched her grow from a promising young singer into a confident, compelling artist ready for any stage.
All of us at Soundhouse are immensely proud of Sadie’s success and thrilled to cheer her on as her career continues to unfold. With her talent, work ethic, and unmistakable voice, there’s no limit to what she’ll accomplish next.
