Soundhouse picks up 4 Best of State medals
Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse has once again been recognized among Utah’s top organizations, earning four medals in this year’s Best of State Awards — a testament to the program’s continued impact in music education and performance.
The Best of State Awards honor individuals and organizations that demonstrate excellence, innovation, and community contribution across a wide range of industries throughout Utah. For Soundhouse, this year’s recognition adds to an already impressive legacy, reinforcing its reputation as a leader in contemporary music training.
Founded by Caleb Chapman, Soundhouse has built a nationally recognized program that blends performance, recording, touring, and real-world industry experience. Its unique approach has helped shape hundreds of young musicians, many of whom have gone on to perform on major stages, collaborate with world-class artists, and pursue careers in music and beyond.
Earning four additional Best of State medals highlights not only the strength of the program, but also the dedication of its artists, faculty, and families. Each recognition reflects the collective effort behind the scenes — from rehearsals and performances to mentorship and community involvement.
The continued success of Soundhouse at Best of State underscores a simple but powerful idea: excellence is not a one-time achievement, but a standard that is consistently pursued and realized. With each new honor, Soundhouse further solidifies its place as one of Utah’s premier music education programs.
As the organization continues to grow and evolve, recognitions like these serve as both a milestone and a motivation — a reminder of what has been accomplished, and what is still ahead.
