KUTV Highlights Soundhouse's Transformative Impact on Young Musicians

We're honored to share that Caleb Chapman's Soundhouse was recently featured on KUTV's "Pay It Forward" segment, showcasing our mission to turn young musicians into world-class performers through life-changing lessons.

In the segment, founder Caleb Chapman discusses how Soundhouse, established 27 years ago, has evolved from a teaching studio into a premier music performance training program. Our students, ranging from 12 to 18 years old, have become award-winning musicians, touring globally and earning numerous accolades.

The feature also highlights our Crescent Super Band's preparations for the inaugural "People’s Music Awards," honoring Huey Lewis. Chapman emphasizes that Soundhouse's purpose extends beyond music education: "The purpose of Soundhouse and the Sound Support Scholarship Foundation is to use excellence in music performing training, to foster excellence in life performance."Alumnus Talon Cardon, who competed on NBC’s "The Voice," shares his experience: "To find a place where I could come and be surrounded by like-minded kids like me, it was exactly what I needed. I felt like I belonged.

"The segment concludes with a surprise donation from Mountain America Credit Union to the Sound Support Foundation, supporting scholarships for future Soundhouse students.
