X Factor Alum Joins Soundhouse Production Team

Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse is excited to welcome the newest member of our Production Team – Gray McKenzie! Gray is a highly accomplished quadruple-threat of singer, dancer, writer, and performing artist. He was featured in the X Factor's final rounds and has had roles in movies and television, including guest appearances on Modern Family, Broken, Days of Our Lives, and High School Musical 1 and 2.

In addition to his performance credits, Gray is an in-demand studio musician with vocal credits on many national commercials, including Hyundai, Jack in the Box, Disney, and Nickelodeon. He has toured with several well-known artists, including Michael Bublé and Jasmine Villegas. He is signed to Philmar Publishing and has placed over 30 musical works on eight major networks and was a writer on the triple-platinum song “Avant Nous” released by Universal Records international artist M. Pokora. Gray is currently touring with the Party Crashers, performing for high-end events and celebrity parties worldwide.

Gray will be primarily working as a producer with the musicians selected for the Soundhouse Institute’s Artist Development Program, using his vast knowledge of all aspects of the music industry to set them up for success. He will also be teaching choreography and performance skills to the many Experience Bands at our Utah studio!
