Earth, Wind & Fire transformed popular music by bringing funk, soul, jazz, R&B, rock, gospel, and African musical traditions together with extraordinary musicianship and a message of joy, unity, and possibility. Their unmistakable sound, iconic horn arrangements, and enduring songs have inspired generations—making Philip Bailey, Verdine White, and Ralph Johnson fitting honorees for the People’s Music Hall of Fame.

The evening features live performances of the band’s greatest hits by the talented Artists of Soundhouse under the direction of Caleb Chapman. The celebration also welcomes an exceptional group of guest artists: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame trumpeter and arranger Rashawn Ross (Dave Matthews Band), the legendary multi-instrumentalist Tom “Bones” Malone (Blues Brothers Band, Saturday Night Live Band), keyboardist and producer Myron McKinley (Earth, Wind & Fire), and other guests still to be announced.

The celebration culminates with Philip Bailey, Verdine White, and Ralph Johnson joining the Soundhouse artists onstage for a powerful finale—bringing generations of musicians together in tribute to the music, spirit, and lasting legacy of Earth, Wind & Fire.

A special live interview led by Adam Reader—the Professor of Rock—will take audiences inside the stories, creative choices, and cultural impact behind Earth, Wind & Fire’s extraordinary career.

All proceeds from the evening go directly to fund student music performance scholarships through the Sound Support Foundation.
